Account Directors
Account Directors lead and oversee all aspects of their accounts, from plan conception to final submission. They work with internal teams to ensure that all projects are delivered with the highest scientific quality and within agreed timelines and client budgets. They are exceptionally proactive and responsive to clients and key opinion leaders with whom their teams interact daily. Account Directors generate business with established clients as well as new clients within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and are directly responsible for the outcome of all assigned projects.
Account Directors should have a BA/BS in marketing, communications, pharmacy, business management, or related health sciences (advanced degree preferred), 5+ years of experience with a pharmaceutical and/or medical communications company, experience in publication management, and experience as a publication manager or director. They also must be able to understand scientific content and develop strategic publication and/or medical communication plans for clients. Experience in managing forecasts, reconciliation, and profitability of client business is a plus.
